form•Z and V-Ray by AutoDesSys Upgrade Promotion

From today until August 31st, 2018, one can purchase a license of V-Ray AND upgrade their form•Z to the latest version at a discount. Pricing can be found here or you can email sales@vray.us for a custom quote.

AutoDesSys released form•Z 8.6 and V-Ray for form•Z earlier this year.

form•Z 8.6 boasts new tools such as Subdivision Modeling and the Round to Holdline tool. Subdivision modeling is a method for creating unique organic forms. These organic models start from a simple base cage that can be dynamically manipulated and reformed with a new suite of tools that provide operations like grow, stretch, bridge, squeeze and offset. Subdivision models are parametric allowing for continued manipulation as well as dynamic control of the surface resolution.

The Round to Holdline tool generates a round between two (or more) faces of an object. The object can be a solid object or a surface. The round is defined with a holdline curve that lies on the surface.

V-Ray for formZ is the future of rendering for form•Z users allowing them to create high-quality renderings with ease. The V-Ray core was developed by Chaos Group and AutoDesSys integrated it with form•Z creating a new powerful tool.

Check out the examples below by TILTPIXEL Studios using form•Z and V-Ray for form•Z.
