Enscape 4.1 is the latest version released from Chaos with a variety of exciting changes. This update focuses on elevating visualization and performance. The new features allow users to create stunning designs, and make sure they are viable, energy-efficient, and sustainable. Enscape users can enjoy updates such as the new Enscape Impact add-on, AI Enhancer, and new features to align with trends in the industry.

Within this new update, users can use AI Enhancer to create photo-realistic renders, use Artistic Visual Modes to diversify presentation styles, support their machines with integrated GPUs, access more Animated Vegetation and People assets, and have access to Chaos Cloud.

Chaos AI Enhancer

Instantly enhance the realism of people and vegetation within your project. This feature will ensure high-quality visuals while speeding up your workflow.

Artistic Visual Modes

Take your renders to the next level by transforming them into pencil or watercolor drawings. This is ideal for users to further express their intentions for a design and make it more engaging for clients. Available for screenshots, batch rendering, mono panoramas, and video exports.

Colored Sun Shadows on Glass Material

Say goodbye to complex window geometry modeling. Users can now apply textures to glass materials and give them a drop shadow that reflects the patterns. This feature is perfect for creating stained glass.

Vegetation and People Assets

Users now have access to 122 new vegetation assets and 10 new people assets to fill your scenes. Enjoy working with trees and plants from Europe, North America, and Japan. Select your favorite people from a collection of different outfits and various poses.

Integrated Graphics Support

Windows users with computers containing Intel and AMD iGPUs (integrated graphics processing units) can now use Enscape.

Updates to Licensing

Enscape 4.1 integrates with the Chaos Licensing System, merging Chaos and Enscape licenses.

Login-Based Activation

To streamline the licensing process, activation now requires a Chaos Account instead of a license key.

Central License Server

Users with a floating license can manage it through a central server. This enables Enscape to be on any machine that can connect to it.

New License Purchases

To ensure an easier management and deployment, new licenses will utilize the Chaos Licensing model and no longer generate license keys.

What is Enscape Impact?

Enscape Impact is used for analyzing a new building's performance. It allows users to conduct a real-time energy performance assessment during the early stages of designing. This helps architects and designers make informed decisions to enhance the sustainability and efficiency of a building.

This is a beta feature released with Enscape 4.1 and will be free for anyone until the release of Enscape 4.2. This period gives users the opportunity to test and provide feedback to ensure the full version meets user’s needs.
