A major part of the V-Ray roadmap includes the development of universal V-Ray assets that can be shared across multiple 3D platforms. With the release of V-Ray 3.0, Chaos Group is introducing universal V-Ray Render Nodes to support distributed rendering and network rendering on multiple host applications. V-Ray 5 Render Nodes currently support 5, Next and version 3.0.

 

V-Ray Render Nodes support network & distributed rendering on the following applications:

V-Ray for 3ds Max

V-Ray for Maya

V-Ray for Modo

V-Ray for Nuke

V-Ray for Katana

V-Ray for Blender*

V-Ray for SketchUp

V-Ray for Revit

V-RAY SWARM

V-Ray Swarm is a simple and powerful distributed rendering system.

V-Ray Render Nodes currently support V-Ray Swarm on the following applications:

V-Ray for SketchUp

V-Ray for Revit

V-Ray for Rhino

*Blender and V-Ray for Blender arе free, open-source products licensed under the GNU General Public License.

To render with V-Ray in Blender you need V-Ray Standalone which is part of a V-Ray Render Node license.
